FRIAS FAMILY VINEYARD

Frias Family Vineyard was founded with our first official vintage in 1991. We purchased 100 acres in 1977 and planted only 5 acres in 1985. We focus on producing the finest Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon along with a small production red blend, Sauvignon Blanc and Rose. Our operation is small and family owned. My wife and grown children help carry out this labor of love by participating in nurturing the vines, blending, bottling and (of course) quality control!

Fernando Frias

General Manager

Fernando was born and raised in San Francisco and has been working with his family since the planting of their first 5 acres back in 1985. Fernando graduated from San Francisco state University with a B.S. in Hospitality Management in 2001.

After completing school Fernando jumped on full time assisting his father and brother and currently is the director of sales and marketing. Fernando currently covers the entire United States, Japan and Canada. Fernando also works helping in all aspects of his family’s business from harvesting to pouring at wine dinners and various functions where the Frias wines are enjoyed. Fernando has recently made the move from San Francisco to Napa where he now lives full time.

At the Quail Napa Gala XIV, Fernando Frias will be presenting a lineup of ‘23’s including the very rare “Reserva” Cabernet Sauvignon. The story of this winery is almost as exciting as the wines themselves. Please stop by and say hello to “Fern” and check out this incredible lineup. Must see table!
