POTT WINE

Pott Wine’s main focus is on the appellation of Mt. Veeder where Aaron and Claire Pott own and farm approximately 10 acres of grapes including Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Viognier, Syrah, Zinfandel and Mondeuse.
The grapes are farmed organically and the wines are made almost entirely by hand (no presses, no pumps). We use only the wines’ own indigenous yeasts and we use a variety of old world techniques and materials - such as terracotta amphorae – to gently extract the natural aromatics of our unique site.

AARON POTT

OWNER/WINEMAKER

Pott Wine’s owner/winemaker Aaron Pott has been making wine since he was an Enology undergraduate at UC Davis in1988. In the 1990s he spent 7 years living and working in Bordeaux where he ran two chateaux in Bordeaux and gained a Master’s Degree in Viticulture from the University of Burgundy.
He returned to the Napa Valley in 1999 and in 2007 and – along with his wife Claire - established Pott Wine to make small production, single-vineyard-designate wines from niche vineyards around the Napa Valley.

POTT WINE AT NAPA GALA XII

At the Quail Napa Gala XIII we are thrilled to introduce Pott Wine to Arizona. Aaron Pott needs no introduction to those of us that follow wine and specifically Napa wines. The wines are personal, specific and incredible. We are very happy to introduce these wines to Arizona at Napa Gala XIII.
